Wagyu Aburiya: Steak & Sukiyaki is officially open!
Opened in October 2023, the Aburiya brand is proud to present to you our newest restaurant, Wagyu Aburiya: Steak & Sukiyaki where we will be offering the renowned Kagoshima Wagyu.
Compared to our 2 other outlets, Aburiya Robertson Quay and Aburiya Tanjong Pagar — the focus of Wagyu Aburiya will be on its Kagoshima Wagyu Steak which you can grill on a hot lava stone plate to your preferred done-ness, an experience that is unique only to Wagyu Aburiya.
Cooking on a lava stone plate allows the meat to have an even heat distribution that gives the meat an even crust and retains its juicy flavour while giving it a natural smokiness.
We chose Kagoshima Wagyu as it is one of the most prestigious Wagyu brands across Japan. It has even won 6 out of 9 divisions of the Wagyu Olympics in 2022.
The second part of the name comes Sukiyaki. Sukiyaki is prepared in a savoury & sweet soy-based broth. The emphasis of an authentic Sukiyaki is in simmering ingredients in this delicious umami broth such that the flavours are absorbed to make the dish rich & flavourful.
The final unique part of the Wagyu Aburiya concept is that for every Steak purchase, you will have option of having free flow french fries or rice/miso soup.
